Dura-Bar Centerless Grinding
Overview
Dura-Bar provides precision grinding of bars for demanding-tolerance applications. Many grades and sizes are available from stock. Many others can be custom ordered.
Some benefits of close tolerance bars include:
- Saving or even eliminating machine time
- Sizing for certain collets or bar feed equipment
- Removing the as-cast surface to increase insert life
- The ingot is proof turned to provide an excellent machining surface and give an additional level of comfort about the quality of the material.
